He's Calling You

I desire nothing more than to meet the face of forgiveness, and say goodbye to the heart of anger.

There is healing in your hands. I search for you in the crowds, but you already know where I am standing. Without saying a word or calling out your name you walk toward me, and you grab my hands. I see the holes that shine with your cascading glory. It's a breath of Forgiveness, Grace, Beauty, all the beautiful lovely things you could think of all wrapped into one.
You say my name. And my heart stops. Did the definition of Love just call my name? I know he did. He fills me up with his love. Suddenly forgiveness is written over my heart. It washes over me like a bucket of fresh spring water, water from the purest places of heaven.
I know that all my failure, hurt, anger, bitterness, shame is washed away. There is not a trace left behind.
But only if I let the past replay in my mind will my past be present.

My mind slowly starts to think back, to the hurt, anger, bitterness.  All the things that I hated to feel, the things that consumed me.

But then he grabs my hand, he interrupts my thoughts and whispers,

"My child, it's time to move on and let go. Don't forget that the past is washed away in my fresh springs of Redemption"

Let him wash it all away. Let him make you into something new and beautiful. Soak in his truths. The definition of LOVE is calling your name. Do you hear him?
